Helen M. Farley, age 78, died Sunday afternoon, January 15, 2006, at her home, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born July 27, 1927, to the late George and Ella (Dettman) Gambsky, in Appleton, where she grew up. Helen moved to Menasha in 1956, following her marriage. She had been employed by Integrity Mutual Insurance Company, as an underwriter, for 38 years, retiring June 30, 1988.
She is survived by her husband, James E. Farley, whom she married September 17, 1949; a brother, George Gambsky, Etowah. NC; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, William and Grace Farley.
Funeral services for Helen will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, January 19, 2006, at the funeral home with Chaplain Jordan Kuczwara officiating. Burial will be in Appleton Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00 pm (Noon), Thursday, until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established.
