Age 85, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2003 at Appleton Medical Center following a short illness. She was born on May 23, 1917 in Menasha the daughter of the late Joseph and Jenny (Britzke) Maciejewski. She was an avid Packer fan but the greatest joy in her life was the time spent with her family.
She is survived by a daughter Barbara (Lloyd) Yandre, Appleton; a son Frank (Cathy) Krieglstein, Appleton; four grandchildren: Lloyd Yandre of Appleton; Laurie (Ken) Philippi, Iola; Katie (Brad) Durben, Appleton; Traver Krieglstein, Appleton; six great grandchildren: Amber and Jensen Yandre, Nick and Emily Philippi, Jake and Cole Durben. Helen is also survived by her brothers and sisters: Regina Strader, Appleton; Dorothy Saborowski, Menasha; John (Ruth) Maciejewski, Menasha; Mary Swiechikowski, Menasha; sisters-in-law: Dora Maciejewski, Menasha; Mae Maciejewski, Menasha and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Frank, her brothers and sisters: Estelle (Lyle) Vander Velden; Walter Maciejewski; Richard Maciejewski; brothers-in-law: Melvin Strader, John Saborowski and Raymond Swiechikowski.
A prayer and scripture service for Helen will be conducted on Monday, February 17, 2003 at 6:00 PM at Wichmann Funeral Home with Sr. Carol Haanen and Deacon Rick Simon officiating. Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 P.M. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established.
