Age 81, passed away on Thursday May 24, 2007 at Colony Oaks Care Center, after a lengthy illness. Harry was born November 11, 1925 son of the late John and Anne (Van De Woyer) Verkuilen. Harry married Rosemary OBright on August 5, 1951 and she survives him. Harry was employed at the Neenah Foundry for 35 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working in the yard. In addition to his wife Rosemary Harry is survived by his children Julie (Jon) Walbrum; and Harold (Helen Zoern). He is also survived by his grandchildren: Jeffery (Molly) Walbrum, and Adam (Melisa) Walbrum; 1 brother George Verkuilen, 5 sister in laws Gertrude, Bernice, Marie, Ann, and Ella Verkuilen and many nieces and nephews. Harry is preceded in death by 6 brothers, Martin, Jake, Antone, Sylvester, John, and Joe Verkuilen, and 4 sisters, Christine Herman, Anna Vanden Bogart, Marie Brition, and a sister in childbirth Josephine.
Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday May 30, 2007 at the Wichmann Funeral Home Tri County Chapel with Pastor Kurt Kovanen officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of services. Entombment will be at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. A memorial is being established.
