Age 82, died on Monday, July 16, 2007 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She was born in Kimberly on March 8, 1925 to the late George and Anna (Verholtz) Jansen. On October 26, 1963 she married Earl Hartsworm; he preceded her in death on February 16, 1978.

She is survived by her sons: Dell and Kim Wendt, George and Diane Wendt, Harlan Wendt, Danny Wendt, Jeffrey and Karen Hartsworm; daughter, Debora and Andy Boduch; brother, Henry Jansen; sisters-in-law: Isabelle Elgeti, Florence Bentle, Bertilla Jansen, June Jansen; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and her husband she was preceded in death by her sisters: Josephine Weber, Margaret Huycke, and Twin sister Mary Powell, Sisters-in-law: Connie Jansen, Angeline Hartsworm; brothers: John Jansen, Charles Jansen, Wally Jansen; brothers-in-law: Howard Elgeti, Milton Bentle, Gordon Powell, and Roy Huycke.

Funeral services for Harriet will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2007 at 6:00 P.M. at the Wichmann Funeral Home (537 North Superior Street) with Pastor Michael Dismer officiating. Friends may call on the family at the funeral home from 4:00 P.M. until the time of the service. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park.

The family would like to thank everyone for taking time out of their busy schedules to be with Harriet throughout the years.
