Harriet M. Krell, died Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at her home in Appleton at the age of 91. She was born August 27, 1914 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Fredrick Dennison Wheeler and Marie Elma Estella Berry. Harriet met her husband, Hans F. Krell, in Fond du Lac and they were married October 6, 1945. Harriet was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church and the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. Survivors include her son: Frederick (Marilyn) Krell of Shawano; two daughters: Gretchen (Daniel) Hansel of Kaukauna, and Katherine (Robert) Wilkiewicz of Waukesha; nine grandchildren: Hans and Tiffany Krell; Gregory, Joseph, Nicholas, and Matthew Hansel; Carl Hennig; Joseph and Christopher Wilkiewicz; three great-grandchildren: Alayna, Evan, and Connor; and two nephews: Jerrold (Lorraine) Wheeler and John (Sylvia) Wheeler. Harriet was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Hans F. Krell, a brother Frank Wallace Wheeler, a grandson Jeffery Hansel, and a nice Joanne Wheeler Manthey.
Funeral services for Harriet will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, December 16, 2005 at the funeral home chapel, with Fr. Patrick Twomey officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again Friday from 9:30 AM until the hour of the service. A memorial fund has been established for the American Heart Association.
