Hans J. Mueller

Hans Mueller, age 92, of Appleton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at his home. He was born on July 19, 1922 in Stettin, Germany, to the late George and Frieda (Zemplin) Müller. Hans was schooled in Germany and moved to Ohio in 1955. On February 22, 1958, he married Marie Luise Kraft. Hans was employed in the paper industry retiring in 1990. He enjoyed the outdoors including gardening, and spending time at the cabin in Cecil. Many times Hans could be found tinkering in his garage or man cave, taking a walk, or reading a good book.

Hans is survived by his wife of 57 years, Marie L. Mueller; children: Bernard (Tammi Feiner) Mueller, Karen (Philip) Garwood, and Kurt (Jenny) Mueller; grandchildren: Ingrid and Alaric Mueller; Isabel Garwood; Erik, Lukas, and Morgan Mueller; and his sister Eva Müller.

The funeral service for Hans will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 17, 2015 at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME downtown chapel. Rev. Judy Deckert will be officiating. Private interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park. The family will receive relatives and friends from 9:30 am until the time of service.
