Hannah May Twomey, age 15, loving daughter of Fr. Patrick and Mrs. Catherine Twomey, and wonderful sister to Allison Mary, died unexpectedly on August 27, 2008. Hannah was born July 5, 1993 in Rockford, Illinois. She was, from the moment her parents saw her, the joy and light of their life. Hannah was a wonderful sister to Allison, who has many special needs, and because of seeing Allison's struggles, Hannah grew to be loving and accepting of everyone. Hannah was active in a number of school projects, but particularly enjoyed working on the technical crew of theatre. In her too short life, Hannah made many friends among whom Lyz Boveroux was especially important, a childhood friend with whom Hannah shared every stage of growing up. At home Hannah was a continual source of happiness, joy, and good humor. She was very loving to both her parents who love her and will miss her beyond what words can describe.
Hannah is survived by her parents: Patrick and Cathy; a sister: Allison; three grandparents: Jerry and Mary Henry and Irene Twomey; six uncles: James Twomey, Kevin (Debbie) Twomey, Nick (Rose) Twomey, Dave (Clare) Henry, Joe (Melanie) Henry, Andy (Natalie) Henry; four aunts: Sharon (R.J.) Swift, Julie (John) Mangliers, Lisa (Jim) Yurkovich, Geralyn (Dan) Kwit; eighteen cousins: Cyrus, Thea, Levon, LuLu, Hollis, Colleen, Matthew, Natalie, John, Jamie, Michael, Stephen, Chrissie, Spencer, Olivia, Nolan, Griffin, Jimmy and Sebastian.
