Hallie Coughlin

Age 84, passed peacefully from the arms of her family and into the arms of her Savior on Friday, April 12, 2002, at Oakridge Gardens Nursing Center. Hallie was born on August 29, 1917, in Medina to the late LeRoy and Clare (Young) Anderson. She married Harold Hando; he preceded her in death in 1939. She then married Thomas Coughlin; he preceded her in death in 1992. During her life Hallie enjoyed many winters in Florida and also liked to take car rides in the country. She always had a story to tell. During the holidays Hallie made the best cookies around and held many holiday festivities.
Hallie is survived by her children, Harla Kieper, Menasha; Heather Jurgensen, Neenah; Kathleen (Don) Wagner, Wild Rose; and John (Diane) Coughlin, Appleton; a sister Lucille (James) Beck, Texas. She will be fondly remembered by her 16 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 3 great great-grandchildren as “Nana” and Grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas; her daughter, Judith; her granddaughter, Bridget Kieper; her brother John Anderson; and her two sons-in-law, Donald Kieper and Walter Jurgenson.
Private family services will be held. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Oakridge Gardens Nursing Center for their loving care.
