Age 82, passed away at home on Friday, February 25, 2005. He was born in New London on November 18, 1922. He grew up in New London graduated from New London High School. Glenn served in the United States Army, serving time in the pacific. He was married to Ruth Opper for 40 years. She preceded him in death in 1987. Hunting, fishing, operating ham radio, and especially bowling, were among his favorite activities. He will be greatly missed by his family and his bowling buddies. Glenn is survived by his daughter, Terry (Mike) Moder of Appleton; grandchildren: Shawn (Rick) Crowly, Sheila (Cary) Maas, Stacy (fiancé, Shane Falk) Stone; great grandchildren: Carrie, Brandon, Taylor, Justin and Jordin; sister, Harriette. He is further survived by other family and friends. Glenn is preceded in death by a son, Donald, his parents; and a brother and sister. The memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1, 2005, at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, 3009 N. Meade St. Appleton, with Rev. Dennis Ellison officiating. Friends will be received at the church from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Floral Hill Cemetery, New London. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
