Glenn D. “Mouse” Le Moine, age 64, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2005, at his home. He was born March 19, 1941, in Appleton, the son of the late Milton and Ellen (Koehnke) Le Moine. Glenn was a resident of Appleton his entire life. He was a graduate of Appleton High School and participated in the auto mechanics program at Fox Valley Technical College. Glenn was employed with the former Kurz and Root Company and Marathon Paper Company prior to his retirement.
Glenn was extremely mechanically inclined. In his younger years, Glenn worked as an auto mechanic and restored the family’s Pontiac. He built his own welder, was a machine and tow motor operator, and electric motor rewinder. He enjoyed riding and working on motorcycles too. In his later years, Glenn was a gardener and canned his own foods.

Survivors include his brother, Gerald (Sandy) Le Moine, of Menasha; two aunts, Lucille Bartman and Marcella Koehnke, both of Appleton; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services for Glenn will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 12, 2005, at the funeral home. Deacon Bill Burke will officiate. Entombment will be in Appleton Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call from 6:00 p.m. Thursday until the time of services at the funeral home.
