Glen “Skip” Korotev, Neenah, 72, died unexpectedly Monday evening, August 2, 2004. He was born July 24, 1933, to the late Charles and Nina (Batten) Korotev, in Burn County, Wisconsin. Skip served with the U. S. Marine Corps and served in the Asian Theatre during the Korean Conflict. He had been employed by Graphic Arts (American Can) for 29 years and following his retirement he was employed by Wisconsin Tissue Mills as a security guard. Glen was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church, where he was a communion server and was a member of the Neenah American Legion.

Survivors include his wife, Josephine “Jo” (Gerard) Korotev, whom he married June 26, 1972; a step-son, George (Shirley) Mason, Menasha; a step-daughter, Sharon (Tom) Ashman, Neenah; step-grandchildren; two sisters, Dawn and Joy, Milwaukee.

Memorial services for Glen will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, August 6, 2004, at ST. GABRIEL CATHOLIC CHURCH, 900 Geiger Street, Neenah, with Father Richard Allen officiating. Entombment will be in Shrine of Heaven Mausoleum, Neenah. A memorial fund is being established.

The family would like to thank the staff Theda Clark Emergency Room and the ICU Department.
