Age 89, passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2001 at Rennes Health Care Center. She was born on March 11, 1912 in New London, the daughter of the late Otto and Anna (Schroeder) Maertz. She married Milton Theimer on October 15, 1934. She was a charter member of Riverview Evangelical Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her son Gary (Connie) Theimer and their children Gregg (Mary Jo) Theimer and Jeffrey (Anne) Theimer; her son Leon (Cheryl) Theimer and their children Andrew Theimer, Anna and Amy Theimer all of Appleton, a daughter Carol ( Rev. Maurice) Hoppe and their children David, Brian, Michele, and Aaron Hoppe all of Mishicot, WI; and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Milton in 1975, and two children in infancy.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, March 27, 2001 at 6:30 PM at Riverview Evangelical Lutheran Church, 136 West Seymour Street with the Rev. Dennis W. Belter officiating. Interment will take place at Floral Hill Cemetery in New London. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 4:00 PM until the time of the services. A memorial fund is being established for Riverview Evangelical Lutheran Church.
