Age 88, passed away unexpectedly at her home. She was born on May 19, 1912 in Green Valley, Wisconsin the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Ueble) Strupp. She was married to Harry H. Salzman for 31 years and he passed away in October of 1966. Mrs. Salzman was a long time member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Appleton.

She is survived by her son James (Bev) Salzman of Appleton, two daughters Lois (Michael) Kraus of Brookfield, Wisconsin, and Jane Salzman of Menasha; seven grandchildren James (Lorie) Salzman, Jr. of Appleton, Theresa (Dale) Young of Green Bay, Kristine (Greg) Stuyvenberg of Little Chute, Susan (Michael) Brettschneider of Manton, Michigan, James Kraus of Phoenix, Arizona, Amy (John) Barta of Appleton, Steve Kiefer of Neenah, thirteen great grandchildren and a special nephew and niece Harvey and Thelma Salzman of Appleton.

She was preceded in death by her husband Harry, one sister Urilda (Otto) Larsen, and her brother Martin Strupp.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, April 25, 2001 at 11:00 AM at Emmanuel United Methodist Church 740 East College Avenue in Appleton with the Rev. David Kallas officiating. Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. A memorial fund for Emmanuel United Methodist Church is being established.
