Geraldine G. "Gerry" Wilz

Geraldine Grace Wilz, age 93, of Menasha, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 14^th, 2020, at St. Elizabeth Hospital.

Geraldine was born in Chilton to Jerome and Alberta (Boaman) Mueller on October 04, 1927.  She married Daniel Louis Wilz on January 9^th, 1947 in Oshkosh.  She worked for Zwicker Knitting Mill for many years.  She was involved in the Orchid Club and the Violet Club.  Gerry belonged to the First United Methodist Church in Neenah for over sixty years.

Gerry was an avid gardener, sewer and crafter, and very talented woman and homemaker.

Geraldine is survived by her children: Pat Wilz of Hollandtown, daughter-in-law Sandy Wilz of Wild Rose, Wayne (Linda) Wilz of Menasha, Vickie (Pete) Peters of Menasha and Jeff (Laura) Wilz of Menasha;  15 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren (one due in April), and three great great grandchildren; and sisters Betty Jane Greening, Lorna (Steve) Jacobs and Caryl Quist.

Geraldine is preceded in death by her parents, husband Dan, son Daniel Lee, twin sister Genevieve Dorn,  sisters Florence and Margie, and brothers Richard and Dennis.

Funeral services for Geraldine will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 19^th at Wichmann Funeral Home Tri County Chapel, 1592 Oneida Street. Visitation at the funeral home from 9:00 AM until time of services.   For those unable to attend, the funeral services for Geraldine can be viewed via livestream on her obituary page at wichmannfuneralhomes.com. Interment to follow at Highland Memorial Park at 12:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Sherwood Lions Club for building ramps and other medical supplies in Geraldine’s name are appreciated.

God has her in his keeping

I have her in my heart.
