Jerry H. Lyman, age 75, of King Wisconsin, went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, February 27, 2007, at Riverside Medical Center, Waupaca. Jerry was born on January 30, 1932, in Grand Chute to the late William and Rose (Peters) Lyman. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Jerry was the owner of Jerry Lyman Shoe Store and later Boot Hill. Jerry was a member of the Genesis Club for over 26 years. Survivors include his children, Debra (Roger) Lyman-Anderson, and their children, Joshua, James, Jessica, Justin, Lisa and Roger (Andy), Appleton; James Lyman (Sharon, his former wife), and their children Benjamin and Danielle, Appleton; and Kathy (Tom) Kurrasch, and their children Seth, Nathan and Teresa, Appleton; his great grandchildren, Julia, Paige, Hope and Desiree; his sister, Lorraine (Ray) Mickelson, Green Bay; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of 19 years, Theresa Lyman; two brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, March 2, 2007, at CALVARY CHAPEL, 2136 East Newberry Street, Appleton, with Pastor Dwight Douville officiating. Friends may call directly at the chapel on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Appleton. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, Wisconsin, for its loving care.
