Gerald Lee Boone

Gerald Boone, 92, of Appleton, Wisconsin, passed away on Saturday, November 16th, 2024. 

He was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, in December of 1931, the son of Burl and Geraldine Boone. 

Gerald “Jerry”, graduated from Green Bay East Highschool and went on to marry Charlotte Schuh. The couple spent 56 years together. Jerry started out in the wallpaper industry and later worked as a medical courier, retiring in 2013 from Affinity Medical Group. 

His big passions were lawn care and flower gardening during the warmer months of the year. In their winter, it was all about downhill skiing and woodworking. Jerry enjoyed taking part in life’s events, especially those that involved music and dancing! 

Jerry is survived by his children, Darryl (Jane) Boone, Renee (Don) O’Malley; grandchildren Katie, Shelly, Mason and Martin; great-grandchildren; sister Sherrill (Al) Wanek; brother-in-law, Ron Murphy. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte; his parents Burl and Geraldine; his brother Burl (Buzzy). 

The family thanks Kari and Tina from the VNA for their years of service and caring for Jerry. 

Visitation for Gerald will be held on Monday, the 25th of November from 10:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm. 

Memorial contributions in Jerry’s name may be made to your favorite park.
