Gary A. Dillon, age 56, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 3, 2007. He was born on August 5, 1951 in Steger, IL, the son of Allie Dillon (Lee) and the late Charles Dillon. He married the love of his life, Sandra, on June 14, 1980. Gary worked at Kimberly Clark Corporation for 27 years. He was an avid golfer and member of the Fox Valley Golf Club. He finally achieved his life long dream of a “hole –in-one” in August of 2007. He was a devout member of First United Methodist Church in Appleton.
Gary is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Sandra. He is also survived by his loving son, Nicholas, his mother, Allie Lee; brothers: Jeff (Sharon) Dillon of Milwaukee and Tim (Lori) Dillon of Crete, IL; son-in-law, Dr. Jim Crews of Winston-Salem, NC; grandchildren: Tucker and Taylor Crews; nieces: Allison (Joel) and Michelle (Trevor); Nephews: Ryan, Byron and Chad: father-in-law, Junior; brother-in-law, Tommy (Kathy); and his sister-in-law, Jenice. Gary was preceded in death by his daughter, Heather Crews.
A memorial service to celebrate Gary’s life will be held at the First United Methodist Church, 325 E. Franklin Street, Appleton, Wisconsin on Thursday, December 6, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. Friends will be received at the church from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service.
