Gale Ann Kading, age 71, of Appleton, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2015, at Brewster Village in Appleton. On November 5, 1943, Gale Ann was born in Sheboygan to Alton and Dolores (Poth) Grams. She was a 1962 graduate of Mukwonago High School. Upon graduation Gale worked for her parents' food store and at Waukesha Motors before starting her college career. Gale attended UW-Stout and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business. She then worked for Milwaukee Lutheran Hospital and moved to Fox Valley working for Kimberly-Clark after meeting the love of her life, Robert Kading. They were united in marriage on November 1, 1975 in North Prairie. Together they had two children and Gale stayed at home to raise her family. After a few years, she went to work for Good Shepherd Lutheran Church as a Pre-School Teacher's Aide.
Gale loved the game of baseball. If there was a game on TV she would watch it, but always stayed true to her favorite team – The Brewers.
Gale will be greatly missed by her loving husband of almost 40 years, Robert; their children: Kyle and Stephanie (Scott) Gremminger; her 3 grandchildren: Aidan, Blake, and Brynn; her mother, Dolores Grams; a sister-in-law, Judy Grams; brothers-in-law: Kurtis (Carol) Kading and Ronald Kading; and other loving family members and many special friends.
Gale was preceded in death by her father, Alton; and a brother, Gary.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 3, 2015, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 2220 E. College Avenue in Appleton with Rev. Dr. Martin Koeller and Rev. Timothy Seabaugh co-officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the hour of the service at the church. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Brewster Village and Theda Clark as well as the staff at Fox Valley Hematology and Oncology for the kindness and compassionate care given to Gale.
