Gail Helen Maffia

Gail Helen Maffia, 73, of DePere, passed away on Tuesday February 22, 2022 at her home.  She was born on July 13, 1948 in Illinois.  The daughter of Anthony and Jessica (Sicinski) Zila.  In 1968, she married Richard Maffia.  In her free time, she enjoyed listening to music and bible sermons, being out in nature, butterflies, playing card games, going shopping and to art festivals, reading books, and being around animals. Gail especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  

Gail is survived by: her husband Richard Maffia of DePere. Her daughter: Dawn (Jake) Southard of Appleton.  Brothers and sisters and many other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.  She is preceded in death by her parents, and son Shawn Maffia.  

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday March 18, 2022 at 11:00 am at Wichmann Funeral Home (537 North Superior Street Appleton WI 54911). Pastor Mike Huff will officiate.  Visitation will be held on Friday March 18, 2022 from 10:00 am until the hour of service at Wichmann Funeral Home.
