Age 97, died Thursday afternoon, March 18, 2004. She was born June 23, 1906, to the late William and Sarah (Persohn) Glawe, in the Town of Osborn. Frieda had been employed as a waitress by Riverview Country Club and by Appleton Coated Papers for many years. She was a member of Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Jane Hughes, Haysprings, NE; Carole Kalley, Carson City, NV; a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Sherry Greunke, Hortonville; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; a sister Marie Bolduan, Appleton. She was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Greunke, June 16, 1980, a son-in-law, Joseph Kalley, six brothers, Ralph Persohn, Otto Glawe, Ernest Glawe, Theodore Glawe, Alfred Glawe, Albert Glawe and a sister, Linda Lovenhagen. Funeral service for Frieda will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, March 20, 2004, at BETHANY EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 530 West Parkway Blvd, with Reverend Daniel Helwig officiating. Entombment will be in Appleton Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the church on Saturday, from 9:00 am, until the time of the service. A memorial fund is being established.
