Age 87, passed away suddenly at his son's home in Appleton on Friday, November 21, 2003. He was born to the late mother Katarzyna Barbara (November 16, 1887 to November 39, 1970) and father Franciesiek Jon Plosczynski (September 28, 1877 to February 6, 1962) on December 5, 1915. His wife, Anne (Biesiadecki) Plosczynski, was born in Missouri on November 26, 1916 and died on September 27, 1999. Frank was proud to work as a flight mechanic at Lockheed Air Craft Plant in California during World War II. He also worked part-time during his military service breaking horses for Roy Rogers. He then moved to Chicago and worked at the Sunbeam Company. In 1947, Frank and his family moved to Marinette where he worked as a millwright and operated his own business. Then he spent approximately 20 years in Kimberly where he enjoyed the local places and was an avid Packer fan. Frank enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing cards (he loved to smear his son, Richard). Frank had a loving friend and companion, Doris Gruentzl of Appleton. He also had loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, caring family members and dear friends. Frank was known as “Pop’s” to the family. He called everyone “Sam” or “Suzie”. His sister, Agnes inherited the name “Sam.” To his friends he was known as Frank P. He loved visiting all his friends at the local pubs.

Frank is survived by his two sons Richard of Appleton and Daniel of Peshtigo; brother, Casimer; and sisters: Monica, Cecile, Agnes and Mary.

Funeral arrangements are pending and will be conducted in his home town of Marinette in the spring of 2004.

The family would like to express a special thank you to all the visiting nurses from AMC for their special care when Frank needed them.

A memorial fund in Frank’s name is established and can be sent C/O Richard Plosczynski, Fox Communities Credit Union, 2531 Highway Drive, Appleton, WI 54914.

“We love you Pops! Nastrovia!” Love, your children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and close, dear friends.
