Frank A. Yauch

Frank August Yauch, age 90, of Appleton, passed away on September 15, 2019 at Century Oaks in Appleton. Frank was born on August 19, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois to John William and Florence (Anderson) Yauch. He served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy on the USS Salinan from 1949 to 1953. On August 1, 1953 he married the former Marion Johnsen and they enjoyed over 66 years together. He was a member of St. Michael Lutheran Church in Chicago for 38 years and was currently a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Appleton. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping and was a member of Road Runners Camping Club from 1977 to 1997.

He loved spending time with family and loved ones, and was the kind of man who was always willing to help someone in need. He was a very friendly man who could talk to anyone about anything.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Marion Yauch of Appleton, daughter Linda Kurz of Franklin Park, Illinois, son and daughter-in-law Teddy and Kathy Yauch of Appleton, grandchildren, Brian Noll, Nicole (Chris) Annis, Amy (Nick) Wilke, Jessica Yauch, Adam Yauch and Zachary Yauch, as well as 16 great-grandchildren and a sister Marilyn Golz of Itasca, Illinois and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sons, John and Ronald Yauch, brothers, Bill, Harold, Richard, and Ray and sisters Shirley and Lillian Pusateri.

Funeral Service for Frank will be on Friday, September 20, 2019 at 11:00am at Faith Lutheran Church of Appleton, 601 E. Glendale Avenue with Rev Daniel Thews officiating. There will be visitation on Thursday, September 19, 2019 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Wichmann Funeral Home of Appleton, 537 N. Superior Street and on Friday, before the service at church from 9:00am to 11:00am.
