FRANCIS A. “FRAN” ZENO,

of Appleton, beloved husband and father, age 59, died at home Wednesday, September 21, 2005 with his family by his side. He was born November 25, 1945 in Oswego, NY the son of Frank and Jean (Zurlo) Zeno. Fran married Anne Chandler on September 5, 1982 in Michigan City, Indiana. He was employed as an engineer at Atlas Coppers in Elk Grove, IL. Fran volunteered many years at the EAA. He enjoyed making plastic aircraft models, traveling and most importantly his family and friends.
Francis is survived by his wife, Anne Zeno at Appleton; 3 children, Michael (Stephanie) at Aurora, IL, Christine (Brian) Dombrowsky of Michigan City, IN and Brian (Adrianna Curlee) Zeno of Neenah, WI; 3 step-children, Michael (Noreen) Frederick of Michigan City, IN, Denise (Kevin Cox) Price of Michigan City, IN and Steven (Debbie) Frederick of Fredericksburg, VA; 16 grandchildren, Jonathan, Ashley, Stephanie, Michael, Marissa, Heather, Katlyn, Brandon, Kasey, John, Mark, Michael Jo, Christopher, Alexia, Ashley and Anthony; parents, Frank and Jean Zeno of Oswego, NY; sister, Ann (fiancé Dominik Tassone) D’Amico of Oswego, NY; sister-in-law, Roxanne Palmer of Lowestoft, England, brother-in-law, Michael (Joan) Chandler of Reydon, England; 2 nephews, Johnathan D’Amico and David D’Amico of Boston, MA; niece, Elisa D’Amico of Boston, MA. He is further survived by aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. Fran was preceded in death by his grandparents, James (Rose) Zurlo and Anthony (Ann) Zeno.
The funeral liturgy will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, September 26, 2005 at ST. MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 119 W. Seventh St., Kaukauna with Fr. Robert Udulutsch, O.F.M. Cap officiating. Interment Pine Lake Cemetery, La Porte, IN. Visitation will take place Sunday, September 25th at Fargo Funeral Home from 4:00-7:00 pm. Memorials to the American Heart Association appreciated.
