Frances G. Meulemans, age 88, was taken by the Angels to be in the loving arms of her parents, especially her mother who was taken from her at birth. She was born on April 26, 1920 the daughter of the late Peter and Gertrude (Maas) Verhoeven. On August 17, 1944 she married her husband, Myron Meulemans. Frances took pride in staying home and raising her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Frances is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Myron; children: Judy (Fred) Spietz of Kaukauna, Noreen Meulemans and special friend, Gary of Menasha, Sandy (Rod) Cotter of Universal City, TX, Ken (Betty) Meulemans of Kaukauna, Mary (Kevin) Webster of Appleton, and Karen (Dennis) Lamers of Brillion; 11 grandchildren: Dan (Amy) Spietz, Jim (Jean) Spietz, Bob (Jill) Spietz, Lori (Mark) Herzfeldt, Michelle (Charles) Gaitz, Sara Cotter, Kerri Meulemans and fiance, Thomas; Christy, Jason and Hollie Webster and special friend, Tyler; and Jake Lamers; eight great-grandchildren: Tyler, Bryanna, Rebecca and Alex Spietz; Derek and Chloe Herzfeldt, and Charles Ethan and Morgan Gaitz; three step great-grandchildren: Alex, Courtney and Cody Broehm. She is further survived by her sister, Marie DeBruin; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Mary Alice and Ralph Meulemans; sister-in-law, Rosemary Franz; and numerous nieces and nephews. Frances is preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Gertrude Verhoeven; Father and mother-in-law, Frank and Margaret Meulemans; brothers-in-law: Tony DeBruin, Peter VerVoort, and Herman Franz; sister-in-law, Ruth VerVoort; and special granddaughter, Lisa Cotter.

The funeral liturgy will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer St., Kaukauna, with Fr. Tom Pomeroy officiating. Friends will be received at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Kaukauna.

The family would like to thank Theda Care at Home for their help, comfort and support; especially Julie for her tender, loving care with Mom.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Frances' name is being established.
