Galow (Fran), 71, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 2, 2022, with her family by her side.  She was born on July 21, 1950, at Bolling Air Force Base, Washington D.C., the daughter of Richard and Frances E. Ratzburg.  Fran attended Lourdes High School in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, where she met her future husband, Timothy Galow (Tim).  She then attended Marquette University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing.  Fran and Tim married on August 12, 1972 and enjoyed 49 years of marriage.  Fran worked as a Registered Nurse for two years before choosing to stay home to raise her boys, who were the light of her life.  She enjoyed playing cards, spending time with her family, and watching Packer games.  She loved going to concerts with Tim and will always be remembered for her famous meatballs and nuts-and-bolts.

Fran is survived by her husband Tim; sons Sean (Christina) Galow, Timothy (Amy) Galow, and Drew (Melinda) Galow; brother William Ratzburg; sister-in-law Diane Ratzburg; brother-in-law Alan Williams; grandchildren Emily, Will, Calvin, Vivienne, Julia, and Elise; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

At Fran’s request, there will be a private memorial service for her husband, sons, and their families.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to the American Diabetes Association in honor of Fran.

Whenever you think of Fran, SMILE.
