Age 74, passed away at her home on October 3, 2003. She was born Florence Phelan in the town of Ellington on October 6, 1928, daughter of the late John and Florence (Wall) Phelan. On November 22, 1949, she married Elmer Hoffman in Kimberly. They enjoyed 53 wonderful years together. Floss worked at the Kimberly Public Library for many years, volunteered at the E.A.A. and the Grand Theater in Oshkosh. Meeting her morning breakfast club at McDonald’s, was a highpoint of her day. Floss enjoyed being with people and reading the newspaper.

Floss is survived by her husband Elmer, her daughters: Susan Hoffman (Michael Meyers) of New Berlin and Ann Kaseno (Greg) of Green Bay; her favorite grandson, Thomas Meyers, and her favorite granddaughter Kathryn Kaseno. She is also survived by her sister, Alice LeFevre (Wayne), brothers: Bob Phelan (Jeanie), Bill Phelan (Kay) and John Phelan (Barbara), and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral liturgy will be at 12:00 noon on Thursday, October 9, 2003 at HOLY NAME OF JESUS CATHOLIC CHURCH, Kimberly, with Fr. Harold Berryman officiating. Friends will be received at the Jansen Fargo Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 8, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a vigil service at 7:30 p.m.; and at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
