Florence Lillian (Fitzgerald) List

Florence L. List, age 95, of Appleton, WI went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on October 5, 2018. Florence was born on July 15, 1923 in Wittenberg, WI to the late John Fitzgerald and Jennie (Denn) Hull. She attended Wittenberg Area Schools and graduated with the Class of 1942. She married the late James C. List on September 22 1945 in Shawano, WI.

Florence worked at Marathon Electric, Wausau, The Tuttle Press and K-Mart, Appleton. In addition, she volunteered at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She was a parishioner and usher at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Appleton for over 25 years.

Florence is survived by her children, Robert (Sharon) List, Appleton, Patricia (Steven) Rhode, Clintonville and Thomas (Marita) List, Kearney, MO; 6 grandchildren, Julie, David, Rob, Jennifer, Monica and Kristin; 6 great-grandchildren; a brother, Emerson (Eleanor) Hull, Shawano; numerous family and friends.

In addition to her husband, parents and 2 sisters, Florence was preceded in death by her grandson, Adam List.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 AM on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 1617 Pine St., Appleton, WI 54914 by Rev. Amal Roche. Family and Friends may visit at the church from 9 AM until the time of mass. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.
