Florence Johanna (Herrle) Frey

Florence Johanna (Herrle) Frey, age 87, formerly of Oshkosh and Appleton, passed away at St. Paul Home, Kaukauna, on Thursday, July 17, 2014. Florence was born on September 20, 1926, in Oshkosh to the late Maurice and Anna (Weber) Herrle. For many years Florence was employed by the Appleton Public School System as an office manager in the Special Education Department, retiring in 1988. Florence was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She especially enjoyed the time she spent with her family.

Survivors include her children, Kathleen (Robert) Juday, Cedarburg, Wisconsin; Todd (Jane) Frey, Appleton; and Kevin Frey, Appleton; her eight grandchildren, Erika, Tim (BrookLynn), Jennifer (Caleb), Jeremy, Christina, Kevin, Zachary and Kari; and her great grandchildren. She is further survived by her sisters, Frances Youngwirth and Ann Baier. Florence was preceded in death by her son, Brian; her brother, Edward; and her sisters, Mildred and Marion.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 26, 2014, at the WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, 537 N. Superior Street, Appleton, with Fr. Gerald Falk officiating. Friends may call directly at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Appleton. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at St. Paul Home for their loving care.
