Age 67, passed away on Wednesday, January 05, 2005 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. Evie was born in Dunbar, Wisconsin on November 29, 1937, daughter of the late Harry and Sophie (Page) Anderson. On October 10, 1953, Evie married Jesse Kasper at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Appleton; he survives. Evie enjoyed reading and playing cards, and was a member of the United Presbyterian Church. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and other family members.
She will be sadly missed by her husband: Jesse Kasper of Amberg; nine children: Jean Kasper of Bullhead City, Arizona; Sandy Weber of Menasha; Steve (Kathy) Kasper of Appleton; Karen Kivell of West Bend; Connie Larsen of Neenah; Theresa (Rob) Kersten of Appleton; Lorena (John) McLoone of Stanley; Gerard (Kay) Kasper of Darboy; and Aaron Kasper of Wautoma; sixteen grandchildren: David Weber and his fiancée Jenny Vanden Boomen and Stephanie Weber and her fiancé Jon Kichefski; Lakisha Jackson-Kasper and her special friend Kyle Stewart; Charles “J.J.” Kasper; Matt and Jessica Kivell; Adam and Justin Kesler; Luke Larsen; Robert Kersten; Jack, Molly, Maggie, and Kate McLoone; Brynn and Bryson Kasper; two great-grandchildren: Kaliyah Stewart and Rachel Kichefski; a brother: Robert (Barb) Anderson of Omaha, Nebraska; four sisters-in-law: Marcy Anderson of Las Vegas; Mildred Miller of Kimberly; Eileen (Carl) Smith of Appleton; Yvonne (Don) Hannemann of Appleton. Evie was preceded in death by her parents, a son-in-law Dave “Potsy” Weber; brothers Wally Anderson, Alfred Anderson, David Anderson, and Raymond Anderson; her mother-in-law Edna Kasper; and in-laws Zelda Meyer, Michael Kasper, Dorothy (Roy) Linzmeyer, and Donald Kasper.
Funeral services for Evie will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 8, 2004 at the UNITED PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH on Grant Street in Amberg, Wisconsin with Rev. Fred Wadsworth officiating. Interment will be in the Amberg Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4 – 8 PM and again at the church on Saturday from 12:00 Noon the hour of the services.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Manor Care Health Services as well as to everyone at St. Elizabeth Hospital. We appreciate everything you have done for Evie and for us. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
