HOPFENSPERGER, EVELYN C. “EVIE”

Evelyn Hopfensperger, of Kimberly, age 78 years, died Sunday, January 14, 2007 at Parkside Care Center. She was born November 26, 1928 in Kimberly, the daughter of the late Louis and Anna (Van Deraa) Weyenberg. Evie was a member of Holy Spirit Parish in Kimberly. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, bike riding and many church activities.

She is survived by her children: Michael (Kimberly) Hopfensperger, Little Chute; Paul (Mary) Hopfensperger, Kaukauna; George (Cindy) Hopfensperger, Little Chute; Janet (Tom) Stilen, Shiocton and Kathy Feavel, Shelton, Washington; grandchildren: Gretchen (Shaun) Shimek, George Jr. and Trina Hopfensperger, Kelly (John) Crooks, Regina (David) Larsen, Chad (Nina) Bonnell and Brandon (Darcy) Bonnell; great grandchildren: Summer, Samantha, Lillie, Denver and Dylan; brother: Robert Weyenberg, Black Creek and special friend, Mary (Wayne) Hietpas, Kimberly. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, special aunt Elsie Van Deraa and son-in-law Jerry Roderick.

The funeral liturgy for Evie will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at HOLY SPIRIT PARISH, 600 E. Kimberly Ave., Kimberly with Fr. Tom Pomeroy officiating. Inurnment will take place at Holy Name Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the time of mass. Memorials to Holy Spirit Parish, Kimberly appreciated.
