Found peace on April 14, 2004, at the age of 92. She is preceded in death by her dear husband Joseph, her parents Henry and Ida (Aul) Kruse, her brother Oliver, and her sisters Grace and Alvira. She is survived by her son Stanley (Jane) of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, her daughter Ila (Robert) Witas of Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin, her grandchildren Michael, Suzanne, Amy and Eric, her great-grandchild Brookelyn, her sister-in-law Ethel Kruse of Kaukauna, and nieces and nephews. She was born September 22, 1911, in the Town of Woodville on the Kruse family farm. Upon her marriage in 1935, and throughout her life, she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother with a considerable talent for gardening, which she passed down to her children and grandchildren. The funeral services will be at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church, 530 West Parkway Boulevard, Appleton, Saturday at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Mark Henke officiating. The visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Appleton. Memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association are appreciated. A special thank you to Wisconsin Lutheran Care Center in Milwaukee for their years of loving care.
