BELL, EUNICE J.

Eunice Bell, age 67, of Appleton, died on Saturday, June 17, 2006, at Appleton Medical Center. Eunice was born on January 19, 1939, in Appleton to Marie (McHugh) Arnold and the late Emmett Arnold. Eunice married Larry Bell on September 1, 1962, in Appleton. Eunice was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed card playing, bingo, camping and especially the time she spent with her children and grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Larry; her mother, Marie Arnold; her daughters, Debbie (Larry) Vorpahl, Austin, Minnesota, and Diane (Bob) Halverson, Appleton; and her son, Rob (Sandy) Bell, Appleton; her grandchildren, Jessica and Kristina Vorpahl, Jenny and Missy Halverson, and Ashly, Connor, Carter and Cayden Bell; her sister, Shirley Ann (Don) Schiessl, Darboy; her brother, Roger (Patty) Arnold, Winneconne; and her sister-in-law, Sue (Dell) Arnold-LaMarshe, Appleton; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Emmett; her brother, Wayne Arnold, and her nephew, Terry Birkholz. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 20, 2006, at MOUNT OLIVE EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 930 East Florida Avenue, Appleton, with Rev. Joel Zank officiating. Friends may call directly at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.

Dear Mom, Thank you for your love you gave us. Life won’t be the same now that you are in heaven. We will miss not being able to call you for your recipes and your advice, you always had the right answer. And hearing your famous opening line, “What are you doing?” Even though the conversations didn’t last long, you always made us feel special. Thank you Dad, for taking good care of Mom. You were at her side for everything. We couldn’t ask for a better Mom. You will always be in our hearts forever. We love you so very much!!
