Eunice C. Heberer, age 88, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2005, at Cherry Meadows. She was born June 3, 1916, the daughter of the late Robert and Myrtle (McFaul) Witt. Eunice was married to Calvin Heberer on September 10, 1967, in Las Vegas, Nev. He preceded her in death in 1994.
Eunice lived most of her life in Milwaukee, and had been employed with several different restaurants. After her husband’s death, she moved back to the Fox Cities. Eunice was a parishioner at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. She enjoyed baking, playing cards, cribbage and yhatzee, and visiting with family and friends.

Survivors include a son, Robert (Jean) Bodart, of Reno, Nev.; three grandchildren, Rodney (Tania) Bodart, of Palmdale, Calif., Jason Bodart and Shari Bodart, both of Milwaukee; three great grandchildren, Zachary, Aly, and Hannah; a stepdaughter, Wendy Heberer, of Milwaukee; two sisters, Joan Van Handel, of Appleton, and Elaine Waldel, of Wild Rose; two brothers-in-law, Gene (Joyce) Heberer, of West Bend, and Wayne (Joan) Heberer, of Sussex; a sister-in-law, Audrey Heberer, of Waukesha; and nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Eunice was preceded in death by an infant son, William, in 1944, a grandson, Lance Bodart, and a sister, Lois Wilharms.

The funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 4, 2005, at ST. THOMAS MORE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1810 North McDonald Street, Appleton. Rev. Gerald Falk will officiate. Interment will be in the Riverside Cemetery, Appleton. Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. Friday until the time of services directly at the church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
