ESTHER MAE KRULL

Age 87, died unexpectedly and peacefully in her sleep on Friday, November 30, 2001. Esther was born on April 21, 1914, and has been a life-long resident of Outagamie County. She was married on September 30, 1936, to John A. Krull; he preceded her in death in 1953. With her husband, she farmed for many years in the Town of Greenville. Esther was an active leader in 4-H for many years; a member of the local Homemaker Club; and enjoyed gardening. In recent years she was active in the Mission Group and Crafty Ladies of St. Bernard Parish. Her real joy in life was her grandchildren. Survivors include her children, Joann (Don) Coenen, Clintonville; John “Jack” (Jenny) Krull, Romney, Indiana; Edward (Carol) Krull, Roscoe, Illinois; Geraldine “Cookie” (Ken) Wegener, Appleton; William “Bill” (Pam) Krull, Neenah; Susan (Ridgley) Schott, Two Rivers; and Peter (Julie) Krull, Sioux City, Iowa. She is further survived by 5 brothers, 6 sisters, 26 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and numerous in-laws. She was preceded in death by an infant son, one brother and three grandchildren. The Funeral Liturgy will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 3, 2001, at ST. BERNARD CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1617 West Pine Street, Appleton, with Fr. John Bergstadt officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Appleton. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home, Appleton, on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. and directly at the church on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of services. There will be parish prayer and scripture service on Sunday at 7:00 p.m. A memorial has been established in her name to benefit the Endowment fund at St. Bernard Catholic Church.
