Age 92, died on Sunday, October 16, 2005 at Cherry Meadows Hospice. Em was born in Chippewa Falls, WI, on December 11, 1912, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (LeTendre) Peloquin. She married John C. Ehlke on June 15, 1936 in Chippewa Falls. John preceded her in death on August 24, 1977. Em will be greatly missed by her sons and their families: David (Jane) Ehlke, Lexington, MA and Richard (Nancy), Annandale, VA; six grandchildren: Maria, Gretchen, Julie, Camella, Daniel and Alex; 4 great-grandchildren: Courtney, Harrison, Savannah and Ashley. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Em was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters. The memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, October 20, 2005, at ST. MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 312 South State Street, Appleton, with Rev. Michael O’Rourke officiating. Visitation will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church, on Thursday, October 20, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. As an expression of sympathy, memorials may be directed to St. Mary Catholic Church or a charity of choice.
