Age 39, died Monday morning, April 14, 2003, from cancer. She was born September 25, 1963, to Ronald and Margaret (Grube) Frohna, in Milwaukee, where she graduated from St. Mary's Academy High School. Ellen then graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point, with a bachelors degree in music and was a band director in Weyauwega, Wisconsin from 1985-1990. She married Scott A. Wilson, on July 19, 1986, in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Ellen was a member of Christ the Rock Community Church, where she was very involved with the church's music program and was director of the Son Harbor Praise Band. She also taught piano and home schooled her children from kindergarten through seventh grade. Survivors include her husband, Scott A. Wilson; two daughters, Katie A. Wilson and Maggie L. Wilson, both at home; her parents, Ronald and Margaret (Grube) Frohna, Milwaukee; a sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Jim Rappl, and their children, Aaron, Brian and Matthew, Neenah; a brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Nanc Frohna, and their children, Emma and Maddie, Greenfield; four brothers-in-law, five sisters-in-law, and their families. Funeral services for Ellen will be held at 6:00 pm, Thursday, April 17, 2003, at CHRIST THE ROCK COMMUNITY CHURCH, W6254 Highway 10-114, Menasha, with Pastor Bill Lenz officiating. Friends may call at the church from 3:00 pm, Thursday until the time of the service. A memorial fund has been established for Son Harbor Children's Ministry.
