Ellen G. Meinert

Ellen Meinert, age 48, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at Brewster Village in Appleton. Ellen was born in Kaukauna on May 20, 1960, daughter of the late Arlette (Blaha) Meinert and Glen Meinert who resides at St. Paul Home in Kaukauna. Ellen had been employed at Valley Packaging until her health failed recently. All who knew Ellen will remember her as a very happy woman who enjoyed whatever she was doing.

Ellen is survived by her father: Glen Meinert of Kaukauna; a sister: Beth (Doug) Olson of Freedom; a brother: Mark Meinert of Kaukauna and his daughters Michelle and Karissa; and by four aunts: Gladys (Gordon) Giebisch of Appleton, Norrine (Doug) Devenport of West Bend, Vivian (Dan) Sachs of New London, and Dolores Meinert of Kaukauna. She was preceded in death by her mother Arlette in July of 2000.

A memorial service for Ellen will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday (TODAY) in the chapel at St. Paul Home, 316 E. 14th Street in Kaukauna, with Rev. Mark Luetzow of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church officiating. Inurnment will be in Highland Memorial Park.
