Betty Rougeux, 91, passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2018, at Prairie Homes Assisted Living, Menasha. She was born on September 17, 1927, in Neenah, the daughter of George and Anna (Staniak) Zielinski. Betty was a devout member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Menasha. She loved to sing in the church choir and care for her grandchildren.
Betty is survived by her daughter: Kathy (Tim) Adams of Shiocton; grandchildren: Paul (friend Dena) Wachowiak, Jr. of Austin, TX; Steve (Tricia) Wachowiak of Sun Prairie; Brenda (Tom) Berres of Slidell, LA; and Kristopher (friend Caitlin) Wachowiak of Madison; great-grandchildren: Tatum , Sean, Travis, Tianna, and Parker; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; brother: George Zielinski Jr.; and former husband: Edward Rougeux.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 am, on Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 528 Second St., Menasha, with Fr. Paul Paider. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Menasha. Visitation will be Wednesday at the church from 10:00 am until the time of the Mass.
