Age 96, passed away at Manor Care in Appleton on Wednesday, November 26, 2003. Eleanor was born in the township of Darynane, MN on February 12, 1907. She spent most of her life in Montgomery, MN, and had lived in Appleton for the past 10 years. Eleanor is survived by her son, John (Lois) Svejda of Appleton; six grandsons and one great granddaughter; and further survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Eleanor is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Svejda; daughter, Rosanne Grossman; and four brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, December 1, 2003 in Montgomery, MN.

The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff at Manor Care and to Rae and Bill, her hospice caretakers.
