Beloved husband, father and grandfather, age 79, died on Thursday, September 2, 2004 at Cherry Meadows Hospice. Edwin was born in Peshtigo, WI, on January 16, 1925, son of the late Andrew and Josephine (Bloch) Jaloszynski. Edwin was a decorated Army veteran of World War II. He and Cyrilla Philippi married June 20, 1946. He married Maria Sachs Kuchenberg on June 28, 1985. Edwin was a lifelong member of St. Therese Catholic Church. He was a long time machine shop employee and retired from Zwicker Knitting Mills. He then worked for Spencer Johnston Company for 10 years. During his retirement, Edwin was employed at Lawrence University, in the Physic’s Department Machine Shop, for 15 years. Edwin was a highly skilled machinist and inventor. His creations included a hovercraft, boats and a “Woody” replica. He was an avid aviation enthusiast and member of EAA. Edwin was also a classic car enthusiast and held membership in the North East Wisconsin Corvair Club. Further, he enjoyed traveling through the U.S. and Canada. Edwin was a dedicated family man and loved spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Maria; his 2 sons, David (fiancé, Linda Hagerty) and Richard (Penny) Jaloszynski; step-children: Daniel (Diane), Michael (Jan) and Gregory (Cathie Lee) Kuchenberg; Katherine (Mike) Doubleday; Colleen (Jerry) Cerasani; 18 grandchildren: Joe, Andy, Daniel, Donald, Dustin, Patricia and Breanna Jaloszynski; Edwin, James, Thomas, Leah, Amanda and Mitchell Kuchenberg; David and Colleen Doubleday; Jerry, Jr. , Coral and James Cerasani; sisters, Anna Brooks and Florence Gay; and great-grandchildren, Zander, Jackson and Chloe. Edwin is further survived by many relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Cyrilla; 2 brothers, Allen and Frank; and his sister, Helen. The Funeral Mass will be held at 4:00 p.m., on Sunday, September 5, 2004 at ST. THERESE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 213 East Wisconsin Avenue, Appleton, with Rev. William Hoffman officiating. Visitors will be received at the church on Sunday, September 5 from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service. As an expression of sympathy, a memorial fund has been established to benefit ThedaCare at Home/Hospice and St. Therese Catholic Church.
