Edward Angus Spangler, age 37 died unexpectedly on August 24, 2023. Ed was born on October 30, 1985, to Clayton Parrott and Kimberly Spangler, in Grand Haven, MI. He spent his early childhood in Grand Haven and then moved to the Fox Valley at the age of 6.
As an adult, Ed spent time drawing. He was a self-taught artist who dabbled in tattoo artistry. He enjoyed creating artwork displaying his passion for roses and skulls. And he enjoyed drawing all types of animals.
In spare time he enjoyed fishing and loved spending time in the water. From an early age, he took to the lakes and pools as though he was a fish. He also loved baseball, and an arbitrary comment regarding a player or team would result in a litany of stats and information.
A natural tinkerer, Ed was known for taking things apart and for some reason, not being able to reassemble them!
Ed loved his children, and his family.
Ed is survived by his mother Kimberly (Nick Bond) Blaha, his father Clayton Parrott, and his children Clarence and Breyonna. He is further survived by siblings and step siblings: Corrine (Travis) Blaha, Emma (Evin) Blaha, Jamie (Cole) Bond, Samantha Bond and Christopher (Ashley) Bond. He will also be missed by many friends and other family.
He is preceded in passing by his grandparents.
A memorial service for Ed will be held on Saturday September 16, 2023, at 11:00am at Wichmann Funeral Home-Laemmrich Chapel, 312 Milwaukee Street, Menasha. Friends and family may gather at the funeral home from 9:00am until the start of the service.
