Edward J. "Ed" Schwalbach

February 8, 1932 — December 15, 2021

Edward J. Schwalbach, age 89, of Appleton, passed away on December 15, 2021. Ed was born on February 8, 1932 in Appleton to the late Edward J and Katherine (Dietzen) Schwalbach. He was a longtime member of St. Pius X Catholic Church in Appleton

Ed was a very hard worker. In his younger days, when his brothers served in the military, he helped on the family farm. Later, he joined Mueller Lumber Company and was employed there for over 39 years until his retirement. He also enjoyed gardening and taking care of his lawn.

He will be sadly missed by 2 brothers, Richard and Raymond Schwalbach, 1 neice Mary and 1 nephew Edward as well as many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and 1 brother John Schwalbach and 2 nephews, John “Mike” Schwalbach and Thomas Schwalbach.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday December 21, 2021 at 11:30am at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 500 W. Marquette Street in Appleton. There will be a visitation prior to the Mass at church from 10:00am to 11:30am. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Appleton.
