Age 78, died unexpectedly, Tuesday morning, January 28, 2003, at his residence. He was born September 15, 1924, to the late John and Caroline (Blatz) Weber, in the Town of Grand Chute. Ed farmed his father’s home farm until the 1980’s. Since 1985 until presently he had been employed by Bechard Investment Group as a maintenance man. Eddie was a very simple man. His knowledge of previous events, times and dates was amazing. He was wonderful at sharing “old” times. His favorite tractor was a John Deere “MT”. To this day he owned a John Deere. Eddie had a very full, healthy life and will be missed by family and friends. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Survivors include five brothers and three sisters-in-law, Raymond and Edna Weber, Sherwood; Gregor and Angie Weber, Fond du Lac; John, Jr. and Audrey Weber, Neenah; Erwin Weber, Grand Chute; Joseph Weber, Greenville; four sisters and a brother-in-law, Sally and Harold Eichstadt, Oshkosh; Sr. Marylene Weber, Milwaukee; Thelma Ryba, Little Chute; Irene Liebhauser, Menasha; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Norbert Weber and an infant brother, two sisters in infancy, a sister-in-law, Arletta Weber and two brothers-in-law, Orville Ryba and Ken Liebhauser. The funeral liturgy for Edward will be held at 10:30 am, Thursday, January 30, 2003, at ST JOSEPH CATHOLIC CHURCH, 410 West Lawrence Street, with Father John Holly officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 9:00 am Thursday until the time of the mass. A memorial fund is being established.
