Edward Charles Wirth
‘Ed’
Age 71, passed away on July 1, 2004 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Appleton. Ed was born in Isaar, Wisconsin to Joseph and Agnes (Van Lannen) Wirth on October 8, 1932. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Appleton. He was employed with Operators Engineer Local 139 and owned his own business WirTex. He enjoyed working in his shop and loved the outdoors especially time spent at his land in Fremont.
Survivors include his mother, Agnes Wirth, Seymour; children: Vicki (Gary) Keller, Kaukauna and their children, Erika and Jeremiah Young and great grandchild, Mason, Debbie (Mark) Nussbaum, Kaukauna and their children, Tanner, Tanya and Ashley, Dale (Robyn) Wirth, LaCrosse and their children, Christopher and Nicole Solberg, Dean (Deborah) Wirth, Appleton and their children, Danielle Wirth and Lance and Brent Driessen, Lisa (Chuck) Marsh Avon Lake, Ohio and their children David, Dylan and Nicholas, Lori (Joel) Wirth-Swanson, Eagle, Idaho and their children, Caitlyn, Morgan and Ryan; siblings: Larry (Patricia) Wirth, Phyllis (Danny) Marshinski, Betty (Jerry) Miller and Gladys Stache.
Ed was preceded in death by his father, Joseph and brother-in-law Elliot Stache.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, July 6, 2004 at St. Joseph Catholic Church (410 W. Lawrence St.) Appleton with Father Larry Abler officiating. Friends will be received on Monday from 6: PM until 8:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:30 PM at the funeral home and also an hour before the mass at church. Interment will be in St. Sebastion Cemetery, Isaar, Wisconsin. A memorial fund is being established.
