Formerly of 1138 South Oneida Street, age 94, died Tuesday evening, January 28, 2003, following a long illness. He was born November 10, 1908, to the late Frank and Ella (Franz) Borsche, in the Town of Harrison and had been an Appleton resident for over 40 years. Prior to moving to Appleton, Edgar, farmed in the Town of Harrison and Black Creek and following this he had been employed by Wisconsin-Michigan Power Company for over 40, retiring in 1972. Edgar enjoyed fishing, tinkering with engines and riding motor scooters. He was a member of Riverview Ev. Lutheran Church and the Electricians Union. Survivors include a sister, Alice Borsche, Chicago; a nephew, Gerald Borsche; a niece, Dr. Beverly Kraly; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frieda, and two brothers, Norman and Arthur (Ione) Borsche. Funeral services for Edgar will be held at APPLETON HIGHLAND MEMORIAL PARK CHAPEL, 3131 North Richmond Street, at 11:00 am, Friday, January 31, 2003, with Reverend Dennis W. Belter officiating. Entombment will be in Appleton Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the cemetery chapel from 10:00 am, Friday, until the time of the service.
