Earl Linden<br>Appleton<br><br>Age 90, passed away on Tuesday April 11, 2006. Earl was born on April 2, 1916 in Racine, Wisconsin. On August 24, 1940 he married Grace Loibl at Advent Lutheran Church in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. He was employed by Kools Brothers and Appleton Extended Care (now Franciscan Care and Rehabilitation Center). Together with his wife he volunteered through World Brotherhood Exchange at Alaska Children’s Services in Anchorage, Alaska living 6 months with 10 troubled teenagers. They also volunteered for 6 months at Curran Lutheran Hospital in Zor Zor, Liberia, West Africa, and were involved with prison ministry in Arkansas and Wisconsin. Earl was active in church work and taught Sunday School.<br><br>He is survived by 3 children, Terry, Sue, and Kay (Earl), 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.<br><br>There will be a memorial service at Grace Lutheran Church, 900 N. Mason St., Appleton on Saturday April 15, 2006 at 10:30 A.M. Burial will be at Zur-Ruhe Cemetery in Cedarburg, Wisconsin.
