Age 95, passed away on Tuesday evening, January 16, 2007 at Wisconsin Veteran’s Home. He was born on April 17, 1911 in Appleton to the late Charles and Martha (Klippstein) Schleitweiler. Earl proudly served his country with the United States Navy during WWII. He loved drawing and painting, bowling, shooting pool, and loved spending time with children.
He will be sadly missed by his brothers: Melvin (Joan) Schleitwiler, FL, Frank (Joyce) Schleitwiler, Appleton; sisters-in-law: Margie Schleitwiler, Appleton, Adeline Schleitwiler, Appleton, nieces: Judy (William) Ollila, Appleton, Jean (Jim) Troy, Whitehall, PA; as well as many grandnieces and grandnephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Clarence (Ethel Mae), Carl, Norman, and his sister, Irene (Arthur) Mueller, and an infant sister.
Funeral services for Mr. Schleitweiler will be held on Friday, January 19, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at the Star of Hope Chapel inside the mausoleum at Highland Memorial Park (3131 North Richmond Street) with Rev. Jason Cuzzolina officiating. Friends may call from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park.
