Earl A. Beyer, aged 88, passed away on January 12, 2023. Earl was born September 13, 1934, to Arthur and Edna (Rhode) Beyer. He attended Manawa high school. Earl was drafted in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was stationed in Colorado for two years. He attended Milwaukee School of Engineering for two years and studied Mechanical Engineering. After his schooling, he moved to Appleton and worked for August Winter & Sons for over 50 years. He married Mary Ann Thomas on November 5, 1960, in Seymour, Wisconsin. The two of them had three children, Bryan, Brent, and a daughter Brenda.
Earl reveled in being outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting. His career spilled over into his everyday life; helping fix campers’ trailers at Little Silver Lake Resort, assisting with construction of neighborhood porches, and doing about anything involving his hands. Earl was always designing and creating, surrounded by homemade blueprints and plans, even up until the end.
Earl is survived by his two sons, Bryan (Jennifer) Beyer and their children, Nicholas, Alexandra, and Olivia; his son, Brent (Michelle Peters) Beyer and his children, Jordan, Madelyn, and Emily. He is further survived by his sister, Lucy Noffke; his brother-in-law, Darvin Thomas; sisters-in-law, Muriel Beyer, Cheryl Beyer, and Jane Beyer.
Earl was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Edna (Rhode) Beyer; his wife, Mary Ann (Thomas) Beyer; his daughter, Brenda Beyer; his siblings, Roger Beyer, Betty (Julian) Jensen, Robert Beyer, Leroy Beyer; and a brother-in-law, Leonard Noffke.
The Christian Funeral Service for Earl will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at 11 AM at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran, located at 302 N Morrison Street in Appleton. Rev. Kenneth Frey will officiate, and Earl will be placed at rest at Highland Memorial Park. A visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 9:00 AM.
