DWANE L. KNOESPEL

Age 74, died Thursday, October 24, 2002, at his home. Dwane was born on May 24, 1928, in Forest Junction, to the late William and Minnie (Hacker) Knoespel. He married Esther Huebner on December 27, 1952, in Crivitz. Dwane was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was an outside sales representative for AAA, retiring on August 1, 1995. Previously, he was the manager of Food Queen in Neenah for many years. Dwane enjoyed the outdoors and fishing, was an avid Green Bay Packer fan; and took pride in his lawn. Survivors include his wife Esther; his daughter, Sheree (Gary) Otto, Pickett, Wisconsin; his son, Keith (Jill) Knoespel, Rockton, Illinois; his grandchildren, Myriah, Jason and Jared; his sisters, Florence Stevenson, Appleton; Gladys Oskey, Easton, Maryland; his brother, Roy (Lois) Knoespel, Brillion; and many special church friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Carol; his brothers, Willard, Herbert, Clarence, Harold and Allan; and his sisters, Hattie and Mabel. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 28, 2002, at EMMANUEL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 740 East College Avenue, Appleton, with Rev. David Kalas and Rev. Lynn Kollath officiating. Friends may call directly at the church on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Dwane’s name. The family would like to extend a sincere thanks to Dr. Phillips and his staff, the staff of the Radiology Department of AMC, and all of the medical personnel that helped during his illness and his special neighbors for their loving care.
