Duane J. Schultz, age 92, of Mountain, formerly of Neenah and Menasha, passed away on June 24, 2021. He was born on December 17, 1928 in Neenah to John and Edna (Warnke) Schultz. He was a 1946 graduate of Neenah High School. On November 22, 1952 he married the former Pauline Beimborn, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Neenah. He was a lifetime employee of Neenah Foundry, retiring after more than 50 years.
Duane was a longtime and active member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Menasha where he volunteered for the Mutual Aid Society. After retirement Duane and Pauline moved to Mountain Wisconsin and he was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Wabeno. Most recently he was a member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran in Appleton. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, playing golf and photography. He was a gunsmith and enjoyed woodworking. He loved riding his Harley and early in his marriage he and Pauline rode in a club with many of their friends.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Pauline, 2 children: Deborah (Dale) Sievert of Appleton, and John Schultz, of Fremont, 6 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren, 1 sister Joan Landskron as well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be a memorial service for Duane on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 11:00am at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, 302 N. Morrison Street in Appleton.
